Our operations at Northwich Site focus on the solution mining and processing of brine for supply to the INOVYN site at Runcorn where it is used as one of the key raw materials for the production of chlorine, caustic soda, chlorinated derivatives and food grade salt.
Brine is also supplied to the Tata Ash Plant at Northwich. Northwich Site pumps around 30 million cubic metres of water every year, with some 2.5 million tonnes of salt being solution mined. The Site has the following management system certifications - ISO 9001:2015 for Quality and ISO14001:2015 for Environment
