Apprenticeships

The INEOS Modern Apprenticeship is a competency-based four year training programme. Year One is primarily spent at Forth Valley College while in the remaining years apprentices are based at INEOS’ Grangemouth site, assigned to a working team, as well as attending College on day release. This gives them the opportunity to gain hands-on, competency-based skills training, as they work towards completing their Level 3 VQ portfolio. By the end of the Modern Apprenticeship, successful candidates will achieve a Level 2 VQ; and a Level 3 VQ in their chosen discipline along with a relevant HNC.

During the 4-5 year development programme Graduates can expect to undertake a variety of placements across the site; being given genuine responsibility on live projects from the start – providing the breadth of experience they’d expect from a global organisation.

Each graduate is given a technical mentor to support them through their Chartership where applicable.
