Overview

Our employee team staffs our Marina View headquarters; our Hobbs fractionation facility; our Battleground, Chocolate Bayou and Carson manufacturing plants; and nine WL Plastics sites. Our Oil and Gas business owns and operates production and development assets in Texas. These efficient, integrated assets earn us strong North American market positions.

Marina View

The Marina View headquarters is located 30 miles south of Houston in League City. It is conveniently located approximately half-way between INEOS O&P USA's two large Texas-based plant sites and hosts the primary business functions for INEOS O&P USA. These include groups responsible for Safety, Health, the Environment and Quality, the Commercial teams, Finance, Human Resources, Customer Service, Purchasing, Supply Chain, IT and Compliance.

Battleground Manufacturing, La Porte, Texas

Located on the Houston ship channel east of Houston, Texas, the 121 hectare (300 acre) INEOS Battleground Manufacturing Complex (BMC) was originally built in 1956. The site is comprised of eight polyethylene lines; one polypropylene line; a 20 MW Cogen facility; and a state-of-the-art polyolefin technical center that supports research and development, technical services and quality assurance. In 2017 a new world-scale bimodal polyethylene unit was brought online to manufacture high density polyethylene.

Chocolate Bayou Works, Alvin, Texas

The 2,400-acre Chocolate Bayou Chemicals Works (CBW) facility is home to one of the largest cracker installations in the U.S. It is located 45 miles south of Houston near the Gulf of Mexico. The plant manufactures two main product lines: olefins and polypropylene. It ships these products by rail, roadway, pipeline and barge. The complex produces more than six billion pounds of product per year.

Hobbs Fractionation, Gaines County, Texas

The Hobbs Fractionation Complex is located in Gaines County, Texas, between the communities of Seminole, Texas and Hobbs, New Mexico. The Hobbs fractionation complex produces ethane or E/P mix, propane and bottoms liquids. Via pipeline, Hobbs has the capability to annually ship 3.2 billion pounds of feedstock to the INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA Chocolate Bayou Works facility in Alvin, Texas, or to other markets.

Carson, California

The Carson, California plant is located 25 miles south of Los Angeles and began producing polypropylene in 1999. The Carson polypropylene facility is uniquely positioned as the only polyolefin manufacturing facility on the West Coast, allowing it to supply the polypropylene needs of our customers in the western United States.

Stratton Ridge, TX

The Stratton Ridge salt dome facility is located outside of Freeport, Texas. It is operated by the INEOS Pipeline Services Organization (PSO). Stratton ridge hosts eight caverns capable of storing ethane, propane, ethylene, propylene, and butene. Two natural gas lease-wells are also located at Stratton Ridge. In addition to storing feedstock and products for Chocolate Bayou, Stratton Ridge has connectivity to major hubs including the Houston Ship Channel, Mont Belvieu, and Texas City, Texas.
