The Bayport site is a wholly owned site, located on 97 acres in the Bayport Industrial District of Pasadena, Texas.
It is the largest single train styrene monomer unit in the world. Since its initial start-up in 1980, the site has set the standard for safe and reliable operation. The success for the site has been driven by the INEOS Styrolution employees on site who also play an active role in the surrounding communities.
This styrene is used as a raw material for a number of styrenic products in such industries as Automotive, Electronics, Household and Construction. Applications produced from stryrene include medical devices, automotive components and toys.The site delivers strong performance in production, quality, and Safety, Health & Environmental compliance. The site has received ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management) certification.
