The INEOS Laboratory is based in a modern building and offers a diverse range of analytical techniques for a wide variety of substances.
The INEOS Laboratory is a well-established lab with expertise in fuel analysis. Our Laboratory is situated within the INEOS Petrochemical and Refinery complex in Grangemouth, employing over 50 highly trained staff and providing a round the clock analytical service to customers worldwide.
Our front line staff are supported by a team of development chemists, responsible for the implementation of an ongoing program of capital investment, which ensures the latest technology is being utilised.
Our modern state of the art Laboratory offers an extensive analytical capability, with techniques such as GC, GC/MS, ICP, HPLC, XRF, FTIR, UV/Vis, facilitating analysis of:
- Light distillates (eg Petrol BS EN 228)
- Middle distillates (eg Aviation Fuel, Diesel BS EN590, Kerosine)
- Heavy distillates (eg Fuel oils)
- Contamination investigation
Our analysis is compliant with client specific and international specifications such as IP and ASTM.
