GO Run For Fun

Now merged with The Daily Mile Foundation, the INEOS GO Run For Fun programme previously managed fun run events for thousands of primary school children, to inspire them to enjoy exercise with their friends.

The INEOS GO Run For Fun programme was established in 2013 by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS with the support of The Great Run Company.

The GO Run For Fun Foundation has now been merged with The Daily Mile Foundation.

At the time, GO Run For Fun managed fun run events for thousands of primary school children each year, to inspire them to enjoy exercise with their friends.

Over 331,000 children have since taken part in over 440 events near INEOS sites in 11 countries, supported by over 10,000 volunteers – many being INEOS employees.

Alongside the event series, the GO Run For Fun programme offered primary schools a pupil-led educational programme, providing inspiring activities and resources to enhance children’s health and wellbeing.

GO Run For Fun was recognised by an impressive team of international sporting ambassadors at the events, including Colin Jackson CBE, Beth Tweddle MBE and Eilish McColgan.
