Sustainability
Sustainability is fundamental to how INEOS operates. While our products play an essential role in society, we recognize and share concerns about the impact of greenhouse gas emissions and plastic pollution. The step out PTA technology installed across our global asset base has lower emissions than conventional technologies and is the key enabler of our low carbon PTA market offer in Europe. Our teams continuously optimise operations, increasing energy efficiency and reducing emissions in lot of small ways that amount to a big difference. We are also developing INEOS Infinia, a recycling technology that could be a game-changer for difficult-to-recycle PET packaging and polyester textile waste. Our business is also committed to being a good neighbour to the communities around our sites. And not least, we treat safety as our top priority and never compromise on our standards.

INEOS Sustainability Reports align with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework and serve as INEOS' yearly United Nations Global Compact progress report. They focus on the issues most material to our company and our stakeholders. The data contained within them provides information across all INEOS businesses worldwide. They also highlight our commitment to and the steps we are taking towards net zero 2050.
